I am looking at the one year anniversary since the launch of THE DRESS and AP on 12-12-12. A year of meeting amazing women, playing dress up and finding out what I want to be when I grow up all thanks to trunk shows. Can we discuss this term? It is a bit outdated, no? I have never packed a trunk, schlepped a trunk or opened a trunk. I keep asking friends who are wordsmiths for a better name. They got nuthin.
Well, there may not be a trunk but there is wine, women and song. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words so here is the most recent show hosted by Leigh Canlis at Canlis Glass studio. All images courtesy of Robert Wade, a dear friend who I met on the job when I moved to Seattle. Robert documents the best events in Seattle and I was honored he took the time to capture this special night and bring my decade in this town full circle.
