In 2017, with cannabis legalization increasing across the United States and Adult Use legalization in Canada on the horizon, Van der Pop sought to understand better the role cannabis plays in women's lives. To do this, the brand surveyed 1,530 North American women about their perceptions, consumption, and interests, hoping to facilitate more meaningful conversations that reflect the needs of real women.

  5. 10% of women cited anti-drug campaigns as a reason for not having tried cannabis
